Analytics and campaign measurement
Ahrefs Web Analytics gives us cookie-less aggregate statistics on the public website, such as page views by country and referring site. It does not set an analytics cookie.
Google Analytics 4 is optional and its tag is blocked unless you select Accept. If accepted, it may set first-party _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies to distinguish browsers, preserve a session and measure which campaigns lead to a trial registration. Their default expiry is up to two years from the most recent visit, although your browser may shorten this. We deny advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation in the tag configuration, and we do not send names, email addresses, operator data or driver data to Analytics. Event-level data is retained for the period configured in our GA4 property; Google's standard property options are 2 or 14 months, while aggregated reports may be retained longer. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If a URL contains a standard utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_id, utm_content or utm_term value, we keep only those approved values on links within our public site. We do this in the URL, without a tracking cookie or browser storage. If you create an account, the campaign values and capture time are saved with the new operator account so we can understand which campaign produced the registration. Arbitrary query parameters and advertising click identifiers are not retained.
Selecting Decline, or making no choice, means the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no Google Analytics data is sent. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time. If you decline after previously accepting, we update Google Analytics consent to denied and remove its first-party cookies from this browser.
Third parties
When you pay through Stripe, Stripe may set cookies on its own domain under its policies. Report and consent signing takes place within OperatorCompliance. We do not embed social-media trackers or use Google Analytics advertising features.
Managing cookies
Use Cookie settings in the public-site footer to accept, decline or withdraw optional analytics consent. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking the necessary cookies will prevent login.
